PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL
To form the Parish Pastoral Council should we have 7 members (representing both Councils) or should we have 15 members (combination of both Councils)?
Who would like to contact other Parishes and
a) find out how many members they have in their Councils?
b) Ask for their Mission Statement? We may consider working on what has been my proposal for a Parish Mission Statement.
To promote, to coordinate and evaluate a new model of church that will become a community of small evangelized and evangelizing communities, incultruated, propehetic and missionary in a process of "Pastoral de Conjunto" (Communion of vision, connunion of steps and communion of Action) to build the Kingdom of God.
c) Their vision and their short and long term goals
Discussion:
We began discussion on the structure of the Parish Pastoral Council and the number of members needed to represent both Councils. Comments and recommendations were made but no conclusion could be reached.
To be further discussed at next meeting scheduled for 2/16/05.
(Item 2) Further research of other parishes will be submitted at our next meeting
